As a licensed professional investigator I have a legal responsibility to my clients to perform my investigations in a proper and thorough fashion and present my findings in a truthful professional and exacting manner.  At all times my tactics and methods must be above reproach and fall within the legal parameters dictated by appropriate state and federal law.  I am obligated, both legally and morally, to conduct each investigation in accordance with accepted industry standards and practices; to be truthful in reporting factual findings in each investigation.  If I fail to act in the manner described above, I am subject to the loss of my professional license and any civil or criminal liability arising from the same.   Undoubtedly, I would loose more than my licenses.  I would lose my clients, my sources of income, my reputation as being an effective investigator and even more importantly, my personal and professional integrity.
